ATLANTIC ELECTRICAL FEATURED IN THE TYGERBURGER

Thanks to the Tygerburger newspaper for showcasing Atlantic Electrical Wholesalers last week.

Here is the story:

It’s been two and a half months since they’ve have opened their doors and since then business has been booming.

This is the success story of the newly opened Atlantic Electrical Wholesalers located at Rivergate Business Park in Parklands.

“We have been open since January and we have grown way over anyone’s expectation in the first two and a half months. In February we did very well and March has been exceptional. It has been a fantastic start,” branch manager, Dane Upton, says.

Their main objective, he explains, is to serve the local electricians and developers.

“A lot of the new home owners in the area want to fit their own lights, plugs and switches and we offer all of that.”

He adds: “Anything electrical we sell, from DIY to contractor’s and industrial equipment. And if we do not have it in our store, we will source it,” Upton, who has been with the company for three years now, says.

Apart from Atlantic Electrical the group also has two other branches – Plumstead Electrical Wholesalers (their head office) which has been going since 1968 as well as Okavango Electrical Wholesalers, the second branch, which opened its doors in 2008.

“Now we have opened Atlantic Electrical for the West Coast area.

‘We have coped well with the opening without any major glitches. Our staff, many of whom have joined us with a wealth of experience from the other branches, are enjoying the challenge of a new store which is growing busier by the day”.
