Plumstead Electrical, established in 1968 by Sandy Gold, expanded their business in 2004 to service Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs when Okavango Electrical Wholesalers and Lighting was opened.
General Manager and Director, Morne Vermeulen, runs the electrical wholesale and lighting division at Okavango Electrical alongside brothers Bruce and Glenn Gold, based at Plumstead Electrical Wholesalers.
Over and above our offering of quality electrical products, we are able to offer suggestions on the best products and solutions for all your electrical requirements, from as early as the blueprint plan stage of any project, no matter how big or small. We are also available to fully spec and quote on all electrical material, whether it be for a multi-million rand development, retail outlet renovation, a new home, or a small homeowner DIY project.
Our clients include many of Cape Town’s leading property developers, electrical and building contractors, municipalities, and retail outlets. We are proud to have been involved in some high-end developments and projects through these affiliations.
A wonderful compliment to the electrical wholesale division is the innovative Lighting Showroom, featuring 500 square metres of cutting-edge displays of the industry’s leading light fittings and home automation products.
